As problem-solvers, we’re being called to address issues that require our immediate attention, while at the same time looking to the future to ensure the solutions we generate will have an enduring impact for generations to come.

It’s a balancing act that requires urgency and foresight, as well as a process that cultivates alignment and trust to ensure we don’t leave anyone behind.

In this month’s newsletter, we share stories of our work that embody this delicate balance. Our Circular Construction Canada Solution Space outlines how circular building is not only a way to eliminate costly construction waste in the face of a historic housing push, it’s also a key element in our ability to build resilient, sustainable buildings that address future housing needs.

And in CANZA’s 2025 Impact Report, we look back on a momentum-building year that addressed climate pressures and shifting market expectations. This deeply collaborative work across the agri-food value chain has laid groundwork that will transform early progress into lasting change.

As we continue to convene collaborative platforms to address Canada’s most pressing issues, we remain committed to this version of solutions-based time travel—one foot anchored in the present, the other planted in accountability for the future.
