In the March 2026 edition:

Circular renos • Real world ag input • Anchor capital deep dive

Dear fellow problem-solver,

If we are following Mother Nature’s lead, spring feels like the start of a new year, doesn’t it?

Those bulbs we tucked into the soil long ago begin to emerge as we eagerly plan what else we can grow this season. It’s the beginning of something new and the decisions we make in these early days can set our course for the rest of the year.

In this month’s newsletter, we share some of the seeds we’re planting to ensure our growing season is a fruitful one.

Our team at CANZA shares how program design input from Certified Crop Advisors is shaping the Million Acre Challenge Program as it continues to scale, and the Nature Investment Hub outlines how anchor capital can create fertile ground for a nature-focused fund to have the stability, credibility, and time it needs to grow successfully.

And in his op-ed, Circular Construction Canada’s Raphael Lopoukhine reminds us that, like in nature, successful growth isn’t always linear. Just like last season’s matter becomes this season’s growth, he argues that Canada should start seeing building materials as long-term assets that can be re-used, and not as one-time consumables.

As we move into this new season, we are reminded how much wisdom there is in nature’s cycles and patterns—wisdom that we can harness as we generate solutions for a strong and sustainable economy.

Onwards,

Your Generate Canada Team
