Generate Canada Board of Directors Update

We are thrilled to welcome two new directors to our board and congratulate existing members who have stepped into new roles

Newly Appointed Directors

Marie-Chantal Lamothe–Chief Human Resources Officer at BDC–and Kevin Groh–Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Canadian Tire Corporation–have joined our board of directors!

As a human resources leader with over 30 years of experience, Marie-Chantal’s expertise in organizational transformation will be incredibly valuable to Generate Canada as we navigate our own organizational growth.

And already a familiar face to Generate Canada, Kevin was a partner and an executive contributor to the founding of three of our Solution Spaces—Canada Plastics Pact, Circular Economy Leadership Canada, and Canadian Alliance for Net Zero Agri-Food (CANZA)—where he contributed his deep understanding of the retail portion of the value chain. As a corporate affairs and communications executive who has worked with some of the biggest brands in Canada, we look forward to having his voice at the table in this new capacity.

Welcome Marie-Chantal and Kevin!

Marie-Chantal Lamothe

“Generate Canada’s bold vision for inclusive innovation and its commitment to shaping a sustainable future deeply inspired me—joining the board is an opportunity to help drive that impact forward.”

Kevin Groh

“I’m pleased to extend my longtime admiration for and association with Generate Canada and its work to wrestle big challenges by establishing common ground and energizing action among partners.”

Three of our existing board members have moved into new leadership positions on the board. Congratulations to Marie-Hélène Labrie who is now Chair, Velma McColl who is Vice Chair, and Marianne Lépinoit who is Treasurer.
