Meeting Canada’s Moment

How can Canada pivot to best meet this moment and overcome systemic barriers to a strong, inclusive, sustainable, and enduring economy that is respected at home and abroad?

Let’s work together to meet Canada’s moment

This is a unique moment in time for Canada. Despite new challenges and old, we are well positioned for the affordable, prosperous and sustainable future that Canadians are calling for. But exactly how we pivot to achieve this is still a source of uncertainty and debate.

We invite you to participate in “Meeting Canada’s Moment”—a national thought exchange that is asking Canadian policymakers, business leaders, community champions, and other problem-solvers to answer this question: How can Canada pivot to best meet this moment and overcome systemic barriers to a strong, inclusive, sustainable, and enduring economy that is respected at home and abroad?”

Be a part of the conversation and join the diverse group of leaders who are tackling this question—across a wide range of issues and interests—as part of Generate Canada’s Solution Spaces. These independent, innovative, and action-focused multi-stakeholder platforms are uniquely designed to generate solutions to critical, complex and interconnected problems in ways that can help public, private, and NGO actors achieve their shared aspirations.

Let’s innovate, test, and scale future-fit and made-in-Canada solutions, together.

Join us to explore how we can meet this moment!

You’re In Good Company

This was one of the first organizations I encountered that deeply understood the connection between environmental, social, and economic sustainability. It’s evolution, from a focus on organizational change to systemic change, is both appropriate and absolutely necessary for Canada’s transition. And the impact speaks for itself.”

Kathy Bardswick

Chair, Sustainable Finance Action Council

Real partnerships, true authentic relationships based on mutual respect and outcomes, are rare, and are essential building blocks to supporting sustainable growth for Indigenous communities. This is what makes Generate Canada’s work so valuable, today more than ever before.

Dr. JP Gladu

We’re in a decisive decade for Canada’s economy and the climate transition. Businesses and investors, alongside governments, will drive a fundamental reimagining of nearly every sector of our economy, including a climate-smart transformation of how we generate energy, grow food and construct buildings and infrastructure. To do this with greater efficiency, we need to find more ways to bring problem solvers together and build the greener economy of the future. Generate Canada is playing an important role in helping bring Canadian innovators and industry leaders together. We need approaches like this more than ever.

Dave McKay

President and CEO, Royal Bank of Canada

Generate Canada is the right model at the right time. To drive progress on big, complex sustainability challenges, we need to convene leaders and innovators across sectors, help them identify achievable goals and strategies to achieve them, and support them with solid research and policy expertise. That’s how big problems get solved.
